AirSlit™ by Southern Soils utilizes a non-broadcast, air-injection application process that features evenly spaced, concentrated and directed airflow to gently open access into the turf plant and air-injecting granular chemicals directed at the thatch/soil interface area. Southern Soils’ specialized Air-Injection™ equipment applies granular chemical precisely to the target zone without broadcasting, via a controlled and directed airflow fixated on the target area, and without disturbing the soil or damaging the plant.
This environmentally advanced delivery process achieves accurate granular chemical delivery to the target zone while significantly reducing, or even eliminating, risk of spreading various organisms from one area to another, disturbing or damaging unintended organisms, as well as eliminating damage to the turf plant and soil.
AirSlit™ can be used with most granular chemical products such as pesticides, herbicides & fertilizers or a combination of those products.

Overseeding is a viable solution for keeping courses a lush green in the fall and winter, which is of particular importance in the South East when many northern golfers start descending in search of quality course that have maintained their vibrant greens, despite the time of year.
The key to our Overseeding services is a quick application handled by experts, using a custom tailored solution for each course, which delivers quality results. We use state of the art equipment which allows for precise and consistent product application through computerized calculations for rate of spread width, assuring a thorough and even pattern. We send enough equipment and personnel to minimize application time, while maintaining attention to detail, so that you can be confident that downtime will be kept to a minimum, yet the results will meet or surpass all expectations.
Preventative maintenance is an integral part of successful golf course management, and Aerification achieves three important objectives. It relieves soil compaction, provides a method to improve the soil mixture around the highest part of a green’s roots and reduces or prevents the accumulation of excess thatch.
While there are many ways to handle Aerification, we’ve found that the most effective solution combines Soil Reliever brand aerifiers, built specifically for greens, using 2.5 by 2.5 spacing, and Cushman Core harvestors for fast and efficient cleanup. We have the ability to do everything from pencil tines, to 12 inch deeps tines, to best match the specific needs of each course we service. We understand that any tuft maintenance is a nuisance to golfers, which is why we’re perfected our method to complete an entire course effectively, typically within 6 hours.
